Only thing I will miss about Subi is that choice little Greek restaurant!
Personally can't wait to have a solid froth crawl through Perth and over the bridge to watch the game. Post game crawl through Vic Park with limitless dinner options!

The Camfield will have the intimate vibe of an inner city venue with biggest licensed venue in WA capacity being 2500.
Hamburger Hill should be reincarnate with a licence for more milk crates for seating.

I hope you've got comfy walking shoes Kela. It's about a 3km walk from the stadium to even the very bottom end of the Albany Highway strip; which for context, is further than to walk from Subiaco Oval to the heart of Northbridge.

That's the problem with putting a stadium on a peninsular, even the places that instinctively feel close are actually miles away and hard to get to.

Vic Park (and its great food, Mushroom) isn't close enough to walk to although you could get the train to Oats Street, but Claisebrook inlet/Royal Street and it's admittedly limited current offerings is a 20 minute walk from the stadium over Windan bridge and will be a bit quicker with the footbridge. The casino and all of its rankness is closer to half an hour. It used to take me 20 minutes to walk to the ground when I parked in Subi or West Perth. Is it really that bad? Clearly everyone on here drives to everything so maybe a walk by the river and a train home will be good for your fat arses and the environment.

Easy walk into Vic Park. Done it heaps of times in reverse from the good pubs at the bottom of Albany Highway to the Cas. Personally I think there are heaps more options pre and post game. The lame massive Brewery thing on site will be a last resort! Going to the footy is a whole day event for me, just a pity there are only a handful of prime Saturday games to really enjoy It!

Haha! I actually do hate that there are no Sizzlers left.....at least around where I live! Going to the footy is about furthest you will get me from the coast. I can just appreciate moving the stadium into a prime city location and out of the suburbs.
