Gumnut I too thought your request sounded reasonable & I'm surprised it wasn't allowed. I thought it was an IOMEDIA software limitation that the club would have the power to control. I'll add your experiance to the long list of things I'm disappointed in the club about in this process.
And I'm surprised they let the joker who's vacated his seat in Block 214 Row 2 Seat 38 move given he's left a single seat.

Re what Saltydog proposed. Possibly too late for you now Gumnut but I wonder how it will work for anyone who pays the $10 deposit then no longer for whatever reason needs a seat. Are you contractually committed for the full amount by virtue of having paid the deposit?

Zorro $200 knocked off in the blocks windus refers too. $99 off ($230) in blocks where row 2 is $329.

Drip line at row 8/9 if 100% accurate will only apply if wind speed is 0.00 m/s given the height involved.

My priority seating access to Virtual Venue starts tomorrow and I am not happy with my seat allocation. It isn't just the $200/seat increase over Subi. Has anybody wrestled with Virtual Venue yet? Do I have to give up my allocated seats before I go searching for something that suits us better or can I search and then only dump my allocated seats if it suits me?
Is it even worth trying to access Virtual Venue to make a change? I see a lot of comment that the best way is to visit the club or hang on the phone for a while. When I tried to ring the club a few days ago, it was engaged for hours and I gave up.

Had a booking at the club 2.20 today and turned up early at 2 spoke to to a young guy at the desk.
Asked if he was Cale the Legend :-)
Was him and he sorted out the seats we wanted straight away.
Similar seats to Domain but so much cheaper.
Definitely recommend going to the club

Thanks Stoney, I'm over it now but a bit disappointed at the time. I'll be there cheering the boys on anyway and if not happy with these seats will try moving again next year.

AGRO have a crack you may get lucky. Worst case you compromise & move to something more desirable than that allocated but not necessarily your 1st/2nd/3rd choice etc. So at very least use your access to the portal to make a list of your preferred seating.

You do not "give up" your seats until you have committed to your existing or new seats by paying the $10 deposit.
You'll lose access to the portal once this is done so make that aforementioned list then periodically check with the club to see if your preferred seating becomes available. They have the power to make changes on your behalf.

LoyalSupporter any progress?
Firstly are you the group leader? Only group leader has the access to relocate.
If you are then I suggest (if applicable) you have another of your group members whom is not OS access the portal via your account and complete the process.

If you've no other team members then ask a capable family member/friend to log in & do the deed under real time instructions, given you've indicated you can view but not enact change.

FYI: I tried various international servers & had no issues so doubt it's a geo location problem you are experiencing.

Thanks to all for the advice. I have just been through the process and it wasn't painful once I chose Google Chrome rather than my usual browser. We are no longer looking into the sun although we are now higher up (and back to the Subi price). I hope viewing from all the seats is as good as the marketing. Anyway, we'll find out in 2018. Go Dockers!

I agree, the virtual thingy worked pretty well. Was tough seating a group of 7 but happy with the outcome. Got our coveted aisle seats back and a better view. Just don't mention having to re-mortgage the house.

Anyone have firm info on where the undercover seating begins? (Disregarding effects of wind)
I've been offered 3rd row in 333 and from what I can see in the virtual view it looks like it's right on the limit of the roof cover.
The price is up significantly from what I was paying at Subi (so much for equivalent seating) so I want to be high and dry for that sort of money.
There doesn't appear to be any plan views or sections available anywhere on the web, and apart from saying that '85% of seats are undercover' the stadium website doesn't give any details on which seats are classified as dry.

I think when they're referring to 85% of the seats being "undercover" they're referring to the Eagles home games only.
