FTO, it’s called supply vs demand, the stadium would rather sell 10,000 seats at $25 than only 2,000 at $50. The WA clubs are going to have to drop their prices once they are competing with Ticketmaster to fill their remainder of their 50,000 seat allocation.
I understand that after 20 odd years of conditioning that the way to go to the footy is to always sit in the same seat with the same neighbors is going to be hard to break, but if you can get your head around it, the easiest thing to do would be to pick up a three game membership to ensure you get tickets to the home derby, then wait for the weekly email from the club offering discounted seats to prevent you from buying the stadium offered seats.
