Probably a no go zone but I'd be making enquiries about two metre Peter Wright too.

It's interesting Bozza that we could build a team around Lynch but there were plenty here who were not at all interested in attempting to do the same with Hogan.

Weller's value and young age makes him a better option than taking a punt on a young unproven draft pick. We were putting a four year contact in front of him so we and other clubs must obviously rate him.

Weller's a huge loss for us. He's not really a halfback going into the future, he's a midfielder with pace, class and an aggressive playing attitude. He's got a better body of work than Martin to date and has shown to be more at home in the system, so that swap wouldn't be too whacked out.

Wilson doesn't hold the same value as Weller, so you'd want to do better than just getting Wilson in exchange for Lachie.

Google the 2014 draft ...

Petracca, Moore, Heeney and Lever are only blokes I rate higher than Weller at this point

Maybe Peter Wright too.

He's worth a mid first round pick

Wilson is good when game is in front of him, Weller is good every where.

I don't even think for a contracted player 2 second round picks gets it done.

CA I agree Weller has value. More than Wilson imo. Lynch however has more value a lot more as does Hogan for that matter.

I have yet to see any evidence that Weller can give us the precision kicking over 55 - 60 meters out of the backline that Ryan and Wilson can. We have enough cover to trade Weller, and according to Jezza & Co, there are midfielders galore in the next few drafts, there for the taking. A player who can pinpoint the footy over 60 meters to the right option is a lot harder to find, super draft or no super draft. Give RoLy 2 players who, form half back, can hit targets 50 meters from goal every time, and he may leave a few players in the forward line as target practice.

Future first rounder from Gold Coast? Might be a top 5 pick next year, possibly #1

In 2018 Ian Hill and Dillon O'Reilly are available, and Jason Carter from our academy. Assume all should be on the clubs radar and likely first round picks (Dillon and Ian that is)

Time to start stocking up on 2018 picks.
