GWS said they would not be trading Boyd and then did.. I guess Lachie Neale could be on-traded to Adelaide? Anything is possible.. There will be some sort of huge bombshell during the trade period hopefully it is Hogan to us

Very few big key forwards seem to average more than 2.5 goals per game, Franklin and Kennedy being the exceptions and they only reach 3-3.5. The days of 4-5 or 6 averages seem long gone. Maybe the athletic 190-192 player who can work between half back and full forward is the go. Matt Taberner can work all day in that space and is showing signs late this season he is likely to average 2-2.5 goals per game if given a chance.

Keep Taberner and see if there's another Fyfe, Dusty or Danger out there.

Why would we trade Lachie? The little guy is worth his weight in gold and then some.

Tim Kelly, but not with pick 5. He looks good, and I'd watch just to watch him. Like MikeW. You have to have a reason to tune in. Certain players provide that.

Who knows what the recruiters are thinking. We could have had Tim English from what I gather, and yet we got Darcy so whose complaining, but English could still hit his straps being a skinny kid and all.

I have a sneaking suspicion that time has been invested in Apeness and that with Brennan Cox the recruiters and coaches think they have some pretty rare talent given he is the youngest player on the list. Give him two preseasons more and who knows.
