I think Eventually is "on the money"! I have no want to yank Yeti's chain, but.... if Hogan is in play, and we want/ need to get Wilson, then a very tradeable asset that we have is Tabs !
There'll be no riom for him if Hogan, Cammac and Kersten are in the 22, especially if Wilson and Pearce coming in allow Fyfey to move forward ala Dangerfield & Dusty.

Bit unfortunate for Tabs ...because I reckon hes "just hitting his straps" and his best years are in front of him rather than those behind him.
And its a bit unfortunate for us, because Freo has put a lot of time,patience,and opportunity into him. But I guess that has - at least - improved his trade value.

If we are are trying to get Hogan and Wilson, then trading Tabs is a reality. Weller should not be part of all this...hes a keeper for now. Get the deals done with Balic, Crozier, Tabs and anyone whose surname starts with 'S'.... (excepting Sandy!).

Hendrix can also be put closer to the East Coast Concert Scene, and surely, a 100gamer with height is worth something in the meat market that this trade season will be.

If by some fluke Hogan does come to Freo next year, I'd laugh if the Dees picked up Tabs to fill their tall KPP spot in the forward line. Didn't Freo nab him as a rookie under the Demons' noses in the draft a few years back? I was under the impression he was a Demons project player.

Dees also have Tom McDonald who has proved to be a fairly handy forward. If they are so keen on Lever (who has less emotional and medical baggage than Jesse), they can easily swing Tom Mc forward to replace Hogan, and Lever back to replace Tom.
If they are playing the long game, Jesse Hogan leaving is a viable prospect.

I would have thought Tabs would be a decent foil for Hogan, with CamMac running around causing mayhem. Kersten would probably be the next cab off the rank if one of those blokes was injured or out of form (as CamMac was for most of this season).

Add a crumbing forward (Walters when not in the midfield) and an elite pressuring-forward (Ballas?), and that looks like a pretty good forward line. Fyfe floating down there a little more often would also help.

I like Weller, but I wouldn't give it a second thought if throwing him in a deal got it to happen.
