I'll be honest here - I was really enjoying what was a really exciting game. I wanted Port to win because part of the fun of sport is lording it over your local rivals. A loss for them is nearly as good as a win for your own team - but I do it out of the fun of having some banter. Had Shuey thrown a massive candy sale, stepped inside then banana-ed it through for the win I'd have groaned, accepted the comments thrown my way at work this week and, grudgingly, applauded a good win and an enjoyable game of footy. That such a good game was decided by a blatant bit of cheating left me feeling cheated out of an exciting finish. From being really worked up by the tightness and competitiveness of the game, suddenly I just felt flat. Can they do anything that isn't tainted?
