Play the kids, Lyon wont play the kids. He is not a developing coach blah blah blah..

This is what happens when close to half your team has played under 30 games, you get smacked around a bit from time to time. Really everyone should stop whining.

The good thing about Lyon and I reckon its the only good thing is that he coaches competitive football teams. If they are not competitive its because they can't be.

The problem with football is that the vast majority of people involved in the game are watchers. In fact, the watchers actually pay for the whole shebang. Unlike income tax, the watchers don't have to pay for it.

Other then the last fortnight, surely most would agree that we were competitive. Since Roly brought our kids in, we got wins and AFL experience into them. There was going to be a tipping point when experience and kids becomes too much for the older heads. The Swans found that in the first 6 rounds.

The team was not that young or untalented that they can excuse a 104 point belting two weeks in a row.

15 minutes of something somewhere in the second half and you could at least argue they kept trying things but it was a nice start and then nothing.

At the very least you'd like to think the coach had to front up to the President and the board with a very frank and convincing presentation before proceeding to year three of the rebuild.

After Rd 6, Sydney brought back more experience with the likes of Rampe, Mcveigh, Sinclair, Papley just to name a few. They played less kids.

the Swans lost their first 6 and have barely been beaten since.

Last year we lost the first 5 and Roly threw in the towel. There is the difference between a good coach and what we have.

Also, the Swans will be playing finals this year. We won't. We didn't last year and unless he suddenly reinvents himself, we won't next year either. Hawthorn went through a massive rebuild and are performing well better than we are.

We set a new record today for the largest in consecutive losses and our coach accepts no responsibility. Its all the players fault it seems.
