The team couldn't physically compete against Richmond. When they could, they led. We dont have half a dozen of our better players: Blakely, Walters, Pearce, Neale, Sandi and Langdon, another six or so kids are just spent.

I am not a Lyon fan but I am not going to ignore what is going on in front of me because it suits me to do so, too much of that is going on in the world today.

You wait and see, we'll be a good football team again real soon.

As far as I could tell - I stand to be corrected - the only changes made today, was Ballas going into the centre, and at some point Dwayne said Johnno went forward.

If moving 2 of our 30 yr old players into "different" positions is an indication of our "coaches box" (its not just RoLy) ability to "try something different" , well....., our problems are far, far deeper than just RoLy.....

Dont think much of the entire coaches box....the bloke in charge, or any of his minions....

Hypen, Pearce hasn't played for two years, Langdon is no better than some of the youngsters that played today and Sandi will be 35 later this year and is injured more than he plays now so adding those three is really stretching it.

Why are the young kids at clubs like Carlton and Brisbane playing so well and being so competitive and not buggered like our young guys are supposed to be?

Corporal, we are playing a truck load of 1st year players right now. How are Brisbane's two top ten picks from 2016 going? They havent even been playing that frequently.

They have had one pre season and would not have done 100 per cent of the work.

I dont want to get into a circular argument about Lyon, he makes it all too hard and I will never be a fan. But its not his fault Cox, Logue, Darcy, Ryan and Deluca cant sustain an effort yet.

And S Hill and Mundy dont look fit to me.

I'd expect at a minimum in a rebuild/restump/rewire or whatever the feck it's called that we could see
i) a hint of a game plan
ii )the semblance of some team structure
iii) the prospect of some team cohesion
iiii) a sniff of positive forward ball movement
v) a strategy to abandon zone defense
vi) an air of confidence (at times)

I'm getting nothing but "we're a mug club joke"

It's a bit harsh to want Jezza packed up and gone with Roly in toe when all I've been advocating is that there's and have been improvement when compared to last year. Had we not have won those games before the bye with the injection of youth, Roly could well have been in trouble. Damian Hardwick in his presser said that he knows what Roly is going through when there's nothing on the line. If throwing out the coach and myself would solve the problem, I'd gladly go. Look 34k people showed up today, left disappointed. It is what it is.
