What's the game coming to when you can't Kung Fu kick someone in the head. Soft. That's what.

He looks at Dalhaus first. Jumps and kicks. Its medium and intentional downgraded with an early plea and the fact Dalhaus used to get around with dreadlocks.

But I've always thought that when going for a mark you could use your feet and knees to ward off opponents. The sainted NN did it to Sandi and all was fine. I recall seeing a young Brendan Fevola plant a foot into a slime player to keep him out of the marking contest and everyone thought it was fine. What is the problem? Was there a definite kicking action? I didn't see it the incident.

Except he wasn't going for a mark..

Personally I reckon he should be rubbed out for stupidity, in the same vein as Hawkins..

I see Cameron has called to give Greene a fair hearing. Fair enough. But I think what Greene needs is a fair old hiding. Like Hawkins, Buddy and D Martin, he thinks he is above the laws of the game. Put Ballantyne in that situation, and the penalty would be 3 weeks, Greenes record is worst in the comp this year so he gets no "get out of jail free" credits.

Who was the last player you saw receive a handball in that fashion? To my mind, his actions were made to prevent getting hammered by the Bulldog player, and show a player who is happy to dish it out, but not so quick to put his body on the line when it comes to wearing one for the team.

If he wasn't going for a mark he did well to mark it.

I know the AwFL have stuffed around with, and stuffed up the rules over the last couple of years, Noddy, but as of last week, I am sure they were not paying a mark for receiving a handball on the full!!!

He put his foot out to protect himself, pretty sure he wasn't expecting Dalhous to face plant onto the end of it. Looked bad because his stud cut open the other guys face, but there were no long term effects, dalhous played out the rest of the game, if buddy had done it, it would be "nothing to see here, move on"

On the other hand, Dalhous wasn't expecting him to keep his foot there.

I'm not sure it's within the rules to protect yourself with your boot. If it is, it shouldn't be. Dalhous has a right to contest the football without having boots pointed at him.

Otherwise we'd see a lot of this type of activity
