As for Ross - I am notoriously hopeless at making a decision. I hear one point of view and agree wholeheartedly. Then someone says the opposite in a convincing way and I agree wholeheartedly. Sometimes I think Ross is great, other times I want to drive him back across the Nullarbor.
But as far as his press conferences go, I just remember the venom he was met with by the local media when he arrived at Freo in terrible circumstances not of his own making. They were like attack dogs straining at the leash. What an introduction to Perth for him! I wouldn't be surprised if he made up his mind there and then to never give those tossers a straight answer as long as he lived, and I couldn't blame him if that were the case.
