Now THAT would be something to see Morgan...!!
I wouldn't want him to cop the 5 yr knee injury, but Hodor crowd surfing a mosh pit, pie & sauce in hand, one sock down, shirt hanging out..... - its something I would love to see...!!
...But don't do it Sean!!! we need no more of that sort of stuff....

Shout out to the other Darcy too who played another very good game, showing a fair bit of poise with the footy and a good knack for kicking straight through the middle under some pressure.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

You make a very good point Bizkit, Darcy Tucker was a fantastic contributor and seems to have gained some poise and confidence.

Easily his best game and well done for bringing it up!!. Keeps knocking them in from outside 50 and he'll be very handy.
Been a bit slow to develop, but I think when we get to the "hes played 50 games what have we got?" test, I think we'll have a decent and reliable contributor. Maybe in the M. Barlow mould. Big call, but I think we'll have a positive outcome for once....

unfortunately we probably wont see sandi and darcy together ,in the present team.
rl on the news said he cannot see them in the same team, jesus wtf !
we are crying out for a decent big bloke in the forward line, this kid has to play until he's had enough, then a rest,he is only 18 nearly 19,but from what he showed last week,i'm sure he would be very dangerous up forward, better than having stop gap releif ruckmen.like cox needs to stabilse either in the forward line or back, johnno needs to saty where he is.
how can you drop him after that effort
give me a break rl

Tucker "slow to develop"? Jeez, that's some tough bikkies, he's only in his second year and I thought he went all right last year.

I thought Darcy Tucker was very impressive in Pav's last game and has generally been very composed. Saw him do a couple of wicked don't argues, a great sign in a first year player. He's maybe more of a stronger, more dashing Nick Suban type than a Barlow though. we'll see how he fares on the inside in coming years I suppose. that seemed to be where Sube's promise ended.

Well ROTV, I reckon he has been a bit slow...I don't think he's really shown anything outstanding over his first year and a half. Hasn't been terrible, but hasn't really shown much to justify continual selection. Good, honest player, but not earth shattering.
But , I reckon he showed a fair bit on the weekend, and that what my comment was about. Hopefully he's got to the point where he's showing us what he's got.
And if he doesn't show us what he's got soonish, we end up with a Sheriden, where its taken him 6 years to get to this point, and he still hasn't shown us anything that justifies his selection. I think its right that we should be 'expectant' of some of these young blokes, even though I completely agree with you that all need time to develop...
If you are a clubs first round draft pick, which Sheriden, Apeness, Tucker, Weller and Logue are, then we need to see something early on, I reckon.
Pav ( admit he wasn't our 1st pick in '99, but close!) showed us something, as did Hill, Haselby, Morabito, Mcphee, Longmuir, Palmer and Black, and maybe Schammer, and Polak.
Did it mean they all turned into great players??...No. But they showed something that was special. Even Clive showed us he was 'special'.
Collard, Dunn. Pitt, Drum and Walker - (probably a bit unfair to Walker) are probably on the same list as Sheriden, Simpson and Apeness.
Weller and Logue, have shown us something 'special' in their first 25 games, but I'm not sure Tucker has.??
But he showed a fair bit on the weekend and I was pleased to see it, and pleased for him!! Hope he shows more as his confidence grows.

And Darcy's last quarter was a let down as well, he better show something quick smart or we will flick him on for a small forward type.

So they noticed in Victoria but as I don't get The Worst was there any decent mention here? Somehow I doubt it.

Yeah Corporal there was. Pretty much a full article on Hodor and how he came close to breaking the record for ruck taps by a debutant.
I cant believe we wouldnt play both Hodor and Sandi given we use to play two ruckmen often when Hendrix was around. The only excuse would be that it might be quicker to build up Hodors fitness by being the #1 ruckman at Peel vs loitering for 70% of the game in the dysfunctional Dockers forward line. Not sure Hodor will add too much more to our tackle count in the forward 50 either.
Id still play him.

He would add a bit to the tackle count, just by implied threat and pressure. Use him as the stay at home forward/ ruck up forward option and allow Sandi to become the kick behind the play defender when we are inside 50.

Just for the boy's confidence..play him! He'd be over the moon about his debut, it'd be heartless and cruel not to give him another bite... If it costs us a match ...well.. bugger it!
Its an investment in the future
