Noddy, we do have WAFL quality players and under Roly they are permanent fixtures.
I may not be a million dollar a year coach but keeping the youngsters out while playing guys like Suban, Pearce, Sutcliffe and Dawson while denying development time to their replacements seems to be an odd way to rebuild. Great way to stagnate though.
Even with 4 new players and Fyfe and Sandi back in, we look like we did last year and the second half of the season before that. Slow, uncertain and poorly skilled.
Our skills look poor, not because we are learning new game plan but because they are actually poor. Thats not a great advertisement for a million bucks a year.
Roly can no longer go with Paul Roos gameplan. The AFL changed the rules to stop that. Roly needs to change and coach scoring or he needs to acknowledge the game has gone past him and go into the commentary box.
