Because all our forward line from last year has retired, been retired, traded or is injured. Kersten and Griff look good for a goal each per game, at best. MCCarthy isn't going to kick a bag every week. Walters is going to playing midfield in spurts. Where do our competitive minimum fourteen other goals come from? ZacD? Fyfe, B.Hill, Langdon are going to be relied on heavily.

I actually think Kersten is our weakest link in the forward line right now, Langdon is the logical replacement for Ballas, B hill to spend time forward when Mickey goes to the middle. We will be very mobile and look more like a Hawks forward line.

As for predictions, I think you all are too quick to discount the suns, who will have a breakout year.

1-4 Swans, Giants, Cats, Crows
5-8 Hawks, Eagles, Bullies, Suns
9-12 Dees, Dockers, Power, Pies
13> Blues, Lions, Saints, Bombers, Tigers, Roos

Bottom of the eight: Geebung, Crow-bots, Aints, Dees
Just missing finals: Freo, Suns, Hawks, Pin cushions, Power
Cellar Dwellars: Bloooz, Pies, Tiggers, Roos, Lions

Suns have got so much talent and one of the best spines going with May, Thompson, Lynch and 2 metre Peter. But just not enough on ball talent to get them into the finals

Ok- Based on the 26 legible sets of votes cast so far,
and making provisions for people who can't count to 4 and are not aware there are 18 teams in the comp..
The algorithm predicts the following

1 to 4 Giants, Swans, Cats, Crows
5 to 8 Bullies, Eagles, Hawks, Dockers
9 to 12 Saints, Demons, Suns, Power
13 to 18 Bombers, Magpies, Tigers, Roos, Lions and Blues

and yes they are in order from 1 to 18
and yes I'm really bored at work
I would do a chart showing vote spread per team- but its lunch now!
