As reported in the Canberra Times by none other than Kim Hagdorn.....Dawson played in the final dress rehearsal game for the seconds with Hamling favoured as the firsts Fullback. Finally, if Ross can make that decision, we are heading for a top four spot.

For what it is worth I have been off work due too illness and have been able to watch quite a bit of training in 2017.
As far as the defensive set-up in match sims Johnson nearly always plays as a loose player and never as a key defender. Lachine Weller has also trained as a defender in every situation Ive seen. Ibbo has also only been matched up on small forwards. With that in mind I think it highly likely the defensive group will consist of one of Logue/Dawsson or Collins paired with Weller, Spurr and either Crozier or Ibbo.

Weller has looked fantastic in defence. Logue is 193cm and 95kgs looks likely to contend for a place in the team early in the year..

Reality is I think everyone is aware that with Hamling in the side there is no space for Dawson in Reality.

FB: Ibbotson, Hamling, Spurr
HB: Sutcliffe, Johnson, Crozier

Backup backman on interchange: Griffin Logue or Sam Collins

When Johnson Brakes down , about round 10 or 12 ish Alex Pearce comes in after completing rehab and training.
