Why is it difficult to understand that if you're a high profile personality in a public place bringing attention to yourself its not going to end well.This is not about standing on a moral high ground. The fact that he's Michael Johnson, plays for Freo, with his pants down to his ankles in a food outlet, someone was going to put that on their mobile. Even if you're an everyday Joe Blow, shenanigans like that would have got you on candid camera. It's the 21st century and everyone has got eyes on you.

I agree entirely Jezza and am more than a little disappointed by some posters trying to make out it was nothing to be upset about. Furthermore he didn't just threaten someone a la Dusty last year, he actually hit him which constitutes assault regardless of the level of force. This is not an afl tribunal where the other clubs medical records seem to hold some sway as to the penalty, this is a man on the street being hit for filming someone being stupid.

Interesting ethical dilemma.

Imagine you are around town, late on a Saturday night, with a group of mates on a piss up.
At 3am, you find yourself (naturally) in an all-night kebab shop.
Another drunken customer arrives, in a clearly more intoxicated state than you, and, without apparent provocation, drops his strides to his ankles. At this point, you realise he is actually a well known local professional sportsman.
Do you:

A. Urge him to pull his trousers up again, as he risks offending the kebab shop owner?
B. Enquire if he is in need of assistance?
C. Pull out your smart phone and begin to film his antics?
D. Ask for his autograph?
E. Quickly find another kebab shop?
