Clearly it seems that this incident is seen by some as worthy of being on a comedy act in Montreal. Johnno has put himself in a situation where I would have thought a responsible family man and a person whose standing in the club is highly respected, should know better. Any sanction and there will be one, will disadvantaged the club and more importantly damaged his credibility as a leader. There's no place for these sort of shenanigans in society today. He's had indiscretions before so why does he have to display such moronic behavior like he did. Do these players not understand that whether they like it or not they are seen as role models especially if they've got children. So let's not make light of the incident even if they remind you of the past.

There was only one reason for doing that, you were going to sell the footage to some chequebook journalism outlet such as Channel 7.

The fact that you copped a whack in the head was not important, it only served to spice up your own tawdry situation.

You're a schoolteacher too, I take it? So I guess there were two role models in this story but it has been conveniently ignored that YOU wanted to profit from an unexpected situation. Something to tell the kiddies in class today?

And hats off to SevenWest who put it on Channel 7 as well as the front page of its newspaper after shelling out shekels so Timmy boy could pay his credit card off.
