Ok - this might help explain the situation.
I had this 197cm chunk of pine in the garage. I could never find a use for it, it just hung around in this pile of wood for years. A couple of years ago I hauled it out and hucked it onto the verge. It just lay there for yonks. So I put a sign on it that said 'REALLY GOOD PIECE OF WOOD - BIG'. That was 2002 - no one picked it up and the sign blew away before Julia yahooed Kev. I've got heaps of big pieces of timber now, seems stupid to go out to the verge to see what the termites have left.

Finishing third last was a combined team failure and a coaching failure. Dawson (that's his name, not The Spack...he is a human after all) was, prior to this year, a member of the #1 ranked best defensive unit in the comp. I have no doubt that when the team and the coaching stars "realign", he would be again.

The idea Dawson is part of a solid back line is laughable. He does one thing. Fist, spoil to the boundary, reset. In case no has noticed last year, no one is playing that stop start game. Because when it breaks down, all your lines are wide open. Dawson's time has been and gone. He was useful to play al imited role and now that isn't required.
