Yes....struggle to see 'The Fist " as a KPP. At best a third tall to match up on the weakest 3rd tall forward every other club has. All works if you have 2 other fit and able big men worthy of the name in the backline. And as far as negating 'Big Forwards', Buddy is the biggest - and to avoid seeing the poor lad get 'rag-dolled' for 4 quarters - if SCOS is fit, he's brought in and doing the job against Buddy, ready or not. Generally, he's had 18 warm up games in the WAFL, so quite obviously he's 'ready and primed' ' to take on the AFL elite. - NOT!
Nup! Time has moved on, and "The Great Deed" of the 2009 drawn GF is a long, long time ago. Stupid as it may sound many of would prefer a 28 yr 191cm Barlow playing i the Back Pocket with foot, hand and above head skills ( and a bit of G&D) and a 1 yr contract, rather than a 195cm 30 yr bloke with 1yr on a contract to run who brings nothing more than a fist !!
