Scos is toast. To be honest I just don't rate him, he is an average VFL level player in tge AFL. Barlow might get a year or 2 on minimum wage if he's lucky, I like him and rate him but tge shoulder injury has stymied his trade value, I think he has a future as a back up midfielder if we have injuries or young guys need a rest, he will spend most of his time at Peel. Footy is a brutal game ask Jordan Lewis.

I reckon we let Barlow go and keep SCOS. Barlow is a bit slow and the mail is that shoulder was a seriously difficult surgery and might be the end of him. SCOS definitely is worth having on the list and I would rather rookie him than Brady Grey or Josh Deluca. I was quite suprised that he didn't get any interest in a trade to be honest. Some of these players might still find a home as delisted free agents. Period opens November 1. Still no Zac Clarke signature is interesting too.

Well this sucks. Sad day for the club as I see Mick as part of the Freo fabric (even though he didn't use a lot of it in his jumper). I reckon we can put a lot of that huge leap we took in 2010 down to the arrival of Barlow to the club and he helped change the thinking of a lot of clubs around the AFL towards what ingredients a quality player would have (although it is a pity it hasn't lasted).

The sad thing is (and I hope this happens), if another club picks him up I'm sure he'll be in their best 22 in 2018, and one of the most popular players with both his team-mates and their supporters.

At least he can be sure of one thing; if he does get back to Subi in another jumper, he's going to get a huge reception from every Freo fan.

(God I hope we're doing the right thing here. No Matt de Boer, no Chopper Mayne, no Micky Barlow, on top of Pav. Feels like the heart and soul of the club is being thrown away - it better be worth it).
