So Shane, six or seven of the players you describe as "hardened" possibly fit that description. I probably wouldn't slot Harley Balic, Ryan Nyhuis, Shane Yarran, Michael Apeness, Ethan Hughes into that bracket. Of the others, yes, Blakely, Langdon, Tucker and Collins have each played a handful of games now, but "AFL hardened" implies a level of Clint Eastwood resentment, bitterness and toughness. I would believe both teams are possibly equal on this count, Horsley and Broughton are experienced in the AFL system, and premiership experience counts for quite a bit.
As for East and South Fremantle however...
