John Butcher is the worst kick of a football I have ever seen. At times he seems genuinely surprised when his foot connects with the ball. Which is a shame because he is pretty good at everything else.

It's quite hysterical to think that names like Cloke Shultz, Mitch Clake, are all on the chopping block at their clubs. At the time, most thought that these players was what Freo needed as Pav's replacement. I'm thinking that Bond et al might have actually had a win after all. So it looks like we can't get a decent player through the trade, unless he takes a 12 months sabbatical.

I haven't seen Shaw so can't comment. The games I've seen Cameron play he has been inclined to go missing a bit and has been beaten by some backs that are no chance of being drafted.

Flag_2005 With the big fellas its not what they cant do its usually glimpses of brilliance that are allowed to nurture, develop and prosper at a higher level. I have certainly seen it in Darcy Cameron.
Rory Lobb was the same as was both McGoverns.
None of them dominated a WAFL game at the same age.
In 2014 I tweeted what a star Mitch McGovern was going to be after seeing him first hand at the showgrounds.
I got a bit of slack from some mates as he had about 10 possessions.

There is a bit of talk around young indigenous player Liam Ryan at Subi.
He came in at Round 8 and played every game since, kicked 35 goals and scored in every game.
He is 19 and has taken some big grabs. Looks very exciting and I am keen to see him in the finals..

The list position we're at means we are no longer interested in low level KPF's who might be able to play a role if they discover some level of ability. We are rebuilding which means searching for outright talent and gun kids, not blokes who've proven they'll never be much at AFL level like Shaw, Butcher, Black or Kersten.

None have the talent to make it far at AFL level with most about a decent WAFL player. They are list cloggers with little improvement left and exactly what we are supposed to be delisting to make room for kids with potential.
