Confidence is a fickle thing. Mayne (nicknamed Nigel for his locks in our household) had one exceptional year off the boot, the one where we went all the way to the GF I believe. But it was endeavour and no give up attitude that made him my son's favourite player and mine as well.
The way he congratulated players of both sides yesterday after the game makes its seem he's heading elsewhere, which is very sad. Personal dollars I doubt, this is more about what the club can get for him. A real shame as our captain seems to be playing with the same level of confidence and accuracy with disposals.
Good luck to Nigel if he does move on,, the kids are definitely going to miss you.
