I agree. I just figured it was the usual perth now / channel seven speculation. But those eye balls are darting around the place in that footage. Something big going down.

Isn't there a rumour that Notacluey wants to join Sandi at Fremantle?

The last time we saw Crazy Eyes it was because he was seething, not lying. He's gobsmacked at the lengths WA media will go to to cook up stories.

The Fyfe story was a non story. So is Ballantyne's. Ch Eagle are full of it. They're desperate to get some footy "news" to grab people in the middle of an Olympics.

The fact no one has the balls to put their name of that article says all there needs to be said about it.

I reckon something is in this one Drubbing and it's a red flag.

100% agree Drubbing. How do you "demand" a trade when your still contracted ? To your cross town rivals no less. If this was true you would leave Ballas at Wafl level for a year rather than trade him to the Slime. I'm calling BS.

Well I don't know if there is any truth in the Kim Hagdorn article or not but considering the amount of worry I put into him Chicken Littleing all over the shop about Lachie Neale I have hardly any anxiety left to spend.

We've weathered the worst of the ridicule for our Gap Year and hopefully most of our players will stay loyally with us. And I think 2017 will be better and 2018 will be brilliant.

I think Mayne is likely to go and although I wish he could stay, I hope he does really well at his new club and (as we did with Crowley) I'll applaud him in 2017 if he is playing in a visiting team.

But I do wish Hagdorn would zip it.

It's a rumour which is easily put to bed.

Ballas needs to come out and say "It's not true."

Ballas is contracted for 2017 so his manager shouldn't be playing silly buggers at this point. Ballas is on Channel 9's payroll so he / they should gleefully come forward and quash the rumours.

Any silence would be deafening.

Let's put it in perspective. He'll be 30 next year. He's past his best. If he wants a trade, it's unlikely that we want anything from them unless it's Darling or McGovern. That's unlikely to happen. So it might be Ballas going east, perhaps GWS?

Are we an outside chance for bronze in the modern pentathlon ?

I am with you Hypen. Lyons response was far from convincing. I am now starting to get very nervous about what is going on at the club.

The only positive I see is that he would still hold some value to another club, although I would hate to see Ballantyne in another clubs colours.

I'm worried about Ballantyne too. I mean when's the last time he's been suspended?

Perhaps (let's start some more unattractive speculation) Ballas heard Mora is getting delisted and, well, um ...
Nope, I've got nothing. I'm dreading the post/off/pre season as much as this horrendous year.

My guess is he's been offered a 2 year deal and Freo refuse to extend beyond next year. Can't blame him for wanting to look after his family. Can't blame the club for not extending to a guy who will be 31 then.
