Just had a look at the site: slimeflyinghigh.com wow talk about a pack of wolves. Even the great messiah Kneebone is in their crosshairs. Comedy Gold.

Thanks for the suggestion Stella (although I did feel dirty Googling Eagles Flying High). Best quote from the site is "Last year we did a 'Steven Bradbury' to get to the GF but played like 'Eddy the Eagle' on the day"

Thanks Stella, never even knew the toast had a site. Gee Whiz, they are truly bitter over there. Couldnt stop reading it for about an hour. They bagged everyone on their list, even Priddissey and the bearded monster guy, everyone that is except for Nilstat. Calling for Simpson to be sacked, the Frenchman to be dropped, Masten is rubbish etc etc. All probably true of course but still......
Looks like they have some sort of rule they dont mention Dockerland by name calling it ".......land".
So Lame.
They`ve even bought into the flat track bully rubbish totted out by the Vics, instead of just realising every one loses away at the moment and cant accept the fact they just arent hard at it, are basically not as good as they thought and this year have to play real teams in the top 8 like Freo has had to do for 4 or 5 years now.
I mean what does it say that Connor Blakely in game 6 or whatever it is, is already tougher inside than all their other midfielders? So glad I barrack for Freo.

Comedy Gold indeed!

Good grief.
What a bunch of whinging, whining, spoilt brats.

I suspect that next week, once they've beaten the luckless Lions, all will be forgiven and they'll be talking up their chances of a flag again.

Have you lot been reading Dockerland this year?

I know I've been bitterer than an unripe lemon until the last fortnight.

I suppose the only difference, Mushroom, is that it took a lot more losses for us to get all bitter and twisted than it did for them. One loss at Subi to a decent side, and they lose all perspective. Of course their real worry now is the next derby.

Their low-life language leaves a lot to be desired too.
It's good to belong to a website group were the 'F' bomb isn't required (or just simply isn't written!).

Most of us can't even bring ourselves to write 'carp' correctly...
So complain we might but at least it's based on good vocabulary.

I suspect that is in no small part to Shane's keen sense of Jane Austen meets Downton Abbey "polite society" common decency, than to our unwillingness to swear profusely when Mayne misses a goal, The Fist butchers a kick, or Danyle misses a forward target by 8 or 9 metres.

Shane Austen? Could be a good name for a boat.

"Achilles surgery to sideline Nic Nat for up to eight weeks."

If he didn't believe in Karma for kneeing Sandi, he does now...

He's just skiving off the return derby.

Bet he recovers in time for the next home game after the derby

I have a question.

If a mark isn't taken and Nic Naitanui isn't there to not take it, was it really not taken?

I'd like to express my heartfelt sympathy to Eagles supporters everywhere for their misfortune.

Go on, try saying that without laughing.
