There will be boxes at ground level in the pocket. It's part of the new stadium enhancement experience for non corporate punters. You pay extra* for a little exclusivity and a short hop to the quieter toilets.

* clearly determined on the survey basis of "how much can we get people to stump up for this?"

After 16 years, I'm unlikely to renew next year. I think the new stadium has priced me out already, I certainly won't be affording the equivalent seats I've got now. I've also spent years breaking in the crowd in my block to my random stupidity, witticisms, and angst mime, and can't face that relationship treadmill again at my age.

Unfortunately my better half is completing this now. The survey wouldn't take fifteen minutes if each question didn't create a rant on being ripped off, if we wanted a BBQ we would stay home, etc In reality we want to just want to watch the football in a seat equivalent to what we had at Subiaco at a similar or lower price with acces to the toilets

Of the fifteen minutes completion time, it took a total of seven minutes to load/refresh the screens!
The message I got from the survey is that the plebs will sit behind goals and in pockets at ground and upper levels — the middle tiers and all the seats between the 50m lines will cost a fortune and probably be empty a fair bit of the time.
I wonder if the Club looked at the experience of Docklands when the ground managers there introduced the segregated seating.
Freo needs to remember that large numbers of us who joined in 1995 are now entering our 'mature years' and all we want is a seating experience that is not significantly different in cost or style than Subi, except a bit more modern and comfortable. We're interested in the footy, not the 'upscale game-day experiences'.

My bet is that we will lose membership. Bad timing to be a shite team in a state being hit by a recession going into a stadium with a shite load of spare seats.
Yes subi is crap venue, but you know what, I'm there for the footy, i don't buy food there, I don't buy alcohol and I drive to the game, park for free and enjoy the 20 minute walk with my family from the car to the game and I enjoy the folks I have been sitting next to for 17 years. Game finishes, home within the hour.
If I here the word "match day experience". Or "valued customer" I will deficait instantly. And if you call our game a "product" I will throw it at you.
Bugger me it's a game of footy for effs sake....

Did anyone notice the little HOOK they threw into the survey about those that are members in 2017 having first crack at stadium seats in 2018. They also put the memberships up about 10% this year so I compensated by dumping my Foxtel sports package and scaling back from $97 month to $45 month. Cant keep getting more and more from those earning less and less. I Dont miss Gerrard Weakley on AFL 180 singing the praises of Geelong and dumping on Freo, best decision I made in ages

do you think by 2018 we will be still knocking on the door of 45plus thousand members.
i would be decreassing fees ,and going hell for leather that the team turns it around ,or imagine how 20,000 will look there week in and week out?
asking members like myself who have had the same seats since game one and supported as much as the next die hard purple man.
a nice letter saying ,welcome and you may go and chose your seat wherever you like.
i am going to write to the club,first time ever and say what i have stated here and a lot more.
