Look, I see the same arguments presented and repeated here and it's been that way since I woke up one morning and some bloke in a beat up old Datsun station wagon had chucked the internet at my front doorstep.
Those arguments seem to me to be more about justifying an opinion or agenda than about rational analysis and I see that pattern repeated across the footy spectrum, from half cut fans arguing in a pub to any one of the growing number of 'specialist' footy shows and panels... everyone just argues their personal agenda.
I'm no fan of Rolyball or what the Steves have done but I don't agree with you Yeti, or any of the recent harsh criticsm of the club and its operations, because I don't think it's accurate criticsm, I think it's emotional. I think a lot of people have so much invested in seeing this team succeed that they're not sitting back and trying to balance all of the factors that might be contributing to the current situation. There's nothing wrong with that of course... it's sport, basically. Irrational, heated, occasionally hilarious or inspiring but loony as all hell. The rugby's been great.
