Goodie, not sure anyone said that its all ok. No one is likely to be happy about this but did you really expect prelims and grand finals forever and a day? There are many other teams who expect the same. We can't all fit into the grand final every year. A bit of perspective goes a long way

while I am distraught at the fact the "window" seems to have slammed shut rather abruptly, after finally getting to see some of these young guys plays, I have to ask myself if perhaps we'd played a Hughes, Langdon, Grey or Blakely some more games last year instead of Sheridan or Sutcliffe we'd have perhaps gone a step or even two further than the prelim, and would now be in a better position to transition to our new look.

I could care less what you want or don't want. I'm not here to make you feel good about yourself. It's a fans forum and I will give my opinion.
Of course I have been happy about our performances in the last few years, but I alo came on at the time and said we were a blue collar team performing way beyond our abilities and I was right. I was also slammed for saying so at the time. All I want to know is how come, if I could see it, and so could the wider footy media, how come no one in the club could see it and why we did nothing about it.

Worst turnaround? Well at least we have our name in the record books for something. Let's try to beat our own record next week!

Fair dinkum I thought we played pretty good. Tabs took some very nice grabs which was always a complaint for people here and converted some tough shots.

Pearce is a standout down back. I look forward to watching him anchor our backline for the next 10+ years.

Weller showed flashes like Neale use to when we first played him. Hope we stick with giving him a run. Blakely was also hard at it and Hughes made some excellent plays too for a 2nd gamer.

We're missing 3 all Australians with another who retired in the previous year. We've also picked someone with potentual to be one of the best midfielders in the comp.

The effort is there. The wins will come and the future looks alright too.
