So here's the go. Last week, we get smashed in the clearances in the last quarter, and lose after being (somewhat undeservedly) still in the game. This week, we get smashed in the clearances in the last quarter, and lose after being deservedly still in the game.
We can blame Mayne, Tabs, or whoever, but all we had to do was break even in the clearances in the last quarter. And I don't think those guys were given that role.
Last year we used to fade in the last quarter, but it didn't matter so much because we had a match winning lead by then. So maybe we just have the same problem as last year - we burn up too much energy early and can't compete at the end.
