We could take some lessons from them as to how to handle the media. Sunday Times this morning first up already controlling the dialogue around the Lycett incident.
I will own up to not having seen the incident, so am unsure as to the merits of it.
Noticed that Simpson already has made the statement "let's assume he is innocent".
In the same situation we would probably say nothing and Ballantyne would cop a week.
In the lead up to the game Simpson already had the crowd riled to be up and about and aggressive. Is there any coincidence that the free kick count started at 10-2.
I will continue to say that we need to be more aggressive in our media stance, to at least give some voice to the fans. Perhaps then people like me will not feel the need to bang on continuously to fellow Dockerlanders, and anyone who will listen.
