In no particular order;
i) we were missing the best ruckman in the league
ii) we were missing our AA defender MJ.
iii) we were missing our brownlow medallist ... can anybody please explain how Fyfe has ended up with less disposals than any 2015 matches including those when he was running around on one leg?
iv) Stringer didn't kick the 5 goals in the first half I thought he would if Sutcliffe was playing on him (Ibbo played on him last year and held him goaless ... go figure).
v) the umpires didn't let the Bulldogs fans down, at various stages Frees were 4 to 1, 10 to 5, 13 to 6 ending up 19 to 14 and if you watch the 19 frees that the bulldogs got, most were very dodgy.
vi) the bulldogs have now won their last 9 in a row at Docklands. They have lost only 2 of their last 13, one against us and another against St Kilda (by 7 points).
vii) I had that game down as one of Freos hardest 4 games for the home and away season.
