Agree with the lack of effort Yeti.

Sometimes wonder if the Freo boys "psych" themselves into believing that the paying surface at Etihad is a disadvantage to them because of the often mentioned hard surface.

Hopefully they can have revenge when playing the Bullies at home in the final round.

I think getting the timeing right at the end of the year is the most important thing, last year we faded badly so if we lose a few games early but finish the year off strongly, i'll take that

even if we have a bad year and get an early pick in the draft , that will help us get Hogan or Cam
McCarthy and we can start again.

I reckon the team hasn't developed beyond those outstanding 2013 games and is now fading back into ordinariness.
We were ordinary when Harvs was coaching. Sometimes we'd win, often we'd lose, but generally it was enjoyable to watch.
Then Ross Lyon took it to another level altogether. Now we expect to win every game, so any loss is a big disappointment.
The team needs to be refreshed and, judging by today's performance, re-energised.
Being ordinary isn't acceptable any more.

It was a 10am start Perth time. I wasn't mentally prepared to watch footy, let alone play. Freo got jumped at the start, the Doggies got their tails up, Freo muffed some early chances, at that was that. It happens. We'll get Sandi, Johnson and Bennell in the team in the next few weeks, and we'll be pretty good.

I think Shane needs to post his Roly 'bok bok bok' gif for all the Henny Pennies.

So we are an any where any time team so long as its after 10.00am?

Look I know this is serious but I don't think Ross and Chris need to go as far as rolling out a new slogan.

Ross sticks with some players when he shouldn't. Last practice match Clancee was woeful, and I have no idea why he was picked today. Silvagni, on the other hand would not get a game if the whole backline were run over by a bus.
But having said that, the game was lost in the midfield and in the stoppages.

So close on that early 11 point call Shane. Just the wrong team and 11 goals instead of points.

The thing that I noticed was that in just about every contest including the centre square the Dogs came away with the ball 90% of the time.
What summed the game up for me was in the 3rd quarter when a Dogs player 100mm shorter than Fyfe took a mark over him.
I thought we were woeful in the middle lacked the ability to win the ruck and bring the ball away, which has always been a strength of ours. It is not good looking when we look beyond Sandy finishing up.

Thus far this season all games have been won by the home side. So we shouldn't feel so bad...

Well looking at the positives, When I look at the ladder right now the Slime are on the bottom of the ladder and we are above them, the Hawks and Gebungle! (Just hurry up and gaze before 16.40)

Fyfester definitely not right. Last year he had more guys hanging off him than the dingle-dangles on my Christmas tree and just shrugged them aside. Today he couldn't break the one-on-ones.

Looks like we still have the same issues as at the end of last year ...Sutcliffe and Sheridan in the backline and no key forward (sorry pav , that breaks my heart ). We need to bring in Silvagni and Pearce (Alex) and get a forward down there to help Pav ..Taberner and Mayne combined couldnt kick a score big enough to beat Perth Glory. Anyone see Charlie Dixon playing for Port ? What happened there, have we got some sort of no beard policy ??
