So Crowls (the player found guilty of a doping breach) is joining the Bumbers (the club found guilty of doping breaches), reuniting with Harvs, who, if I recall, wanted him out at Freo. Crowls may indeed play that hard-tagging role we are used to, so Fyfe may be a target.

This is irony on so many levels, my head is spinning....if it's jarring to see Crowls in a Dons guernsey, imagine what it's like for Dons supporters.

I am so glad Kreepy has been given a second chance. Crowls has been given this opportunity at Essendon because a large number of players have been done for taking drugs. From day 1 he has taken responsibility for his error of judgement, accepted his penalty and done absolutely everything he could to atone for his mistake. If things go his way, and with the side as depleted as it is, there is every chance he could be Essendon's B&F this coming season. That would certainly resurrect his AFL career. All the best Ryan.

Sit back and enjoy the tragi-comedy that will be Essendon's 2016 season, now with the added bonus of Ryan Crowley being on board.

With him there, it's a shame they couldn't have the Dockers v Essendon game as part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival. What a pantomime it will be - with Crowley as a 'Dick Dastardly' type figure - he needs a sniggering dog at his side to play 'Mutley' - always trying to thwart the opposition with conniving tricks, but always failing.

After getting pansed week-in week-out by 10 goals by most teams, the Dons will probably only lose that game by five goals because the Dockers shut-up shop at quarter-time.

Another question is how long Crowley will last before he falls out with Brendan Goddard? Will they make it through to the end of the week?

Goddards worst nightmare. Instead of having Crowls tag him once or twice a year, he has Crowls in his ear 4 times a week at training. They should sell tickets to Bombers training. At least they will save money by not needing sprinklers. Goddards tears will irrigate the training track for the season.
