Ballard could find the ball but his disposal skills often let him down. Could turn the ball over at times.
Maybe the dockers have FINALLY understood that given our less than elite disposal skills compared to other top sides that being able to kick to a team mate to their advantage as opposed to our general approach of in the vicinity of our player is important!

40 goals a season...pppfffffffttt!!

What if I told you there was a guy who kicked 20 goals and took 29 marks in the last 2 rounds of the SANFL this season?

What if I told you he was: mature age, 193cms and 100 kg?

What if I told you he was (and still is) James Podsiadly? .... I did say he was mature age.

The gap between state leagues and AFL is greater than that between Geoff Edelsten and his latest wife.

If Brisbane, Sydney, GWS and Gold Coast give up a whole lot of picks for academy kids then will that mean our later picks say 61 can become a much earlier pick?

Sam grimly vfl goal kicker last 2 yrs couldn't get in Hawks side due to roughie and Gunston - possible with our 2 hawk assistant coaches!!!!! They'd know if he is worth it - 24yrs old and 199cm . Do we know who won SANFL goal kicker.

Just been checking out the Club website with pictures of our players on holiday and noticed the smiling, maybe a grimace, face of one Chris Moller. I wonder if anyone has told him of his delisting yet. Maybe we can redraft him in the upcoming delisted free agents period. We've spent a lot of time on developing this kid, 5-6 years by my reckoning, and if he's got a skerrick of talent in him then maybe a year contract might be worth it.

I always thought Matthew Watson ex Carlton looked promising , 195cm plays forward /back , but not sure how you cant perform in a Carlton team? Had a good grab...

Get the Grimley Boy from the Hawks and Mason Shaw, they are both ready to go they are what we need now. If we score the young chap from Hale school as well then well and good. Grimley has a point to prove and what better way to do it than kick 6 in the 2016 GF against your old side who delisted you? Sam Collins at Box Hill is another one we should grab as a Key defender, 193cm 87Kg would be a good replacement for AA Luke. Then go for Marlon Pickett from South Freo as a forward midfield type and save the rest of our picks for the rookie draft. Sorted!

Cmon Gumnut - How much longer do you give him? He hasnt put a ounce of weight on since he got here, has never dominated a WAFL game at Reserves level let alone in the league team.
Time to move on...spots on the list are hard to keep these days esp when we have the likes of Morabito effectively clogging up a spot for a few years.

I doubt we would look at Marlon Pickett. Having one perceived bad boy on the list is going to be hard enough.
We would have to be 500% sure of his commitment and lifestyle before looking at him seriously

On the contrary, Moller has just turned 21, now weighs 91 kg which compares favourably to Zac Clarke @ 96 kg, and 204 cm, a centimetre taller than Zac. Add to this that it's well known that big men take until around 23 to 24 to become competitive and if you had followed the WAFL there have been a few times that Craig has demonstrated more than average ability in the absence of Griff and Zac firstly in round with 33 hitouts and a goal in tandem with Jack Hannath against West Perth and then in the Qualifying final again against West Perth where he rucked alone in a losing side to amass 45 hitouts against West Perth's total of 20. He's also improved in the forward line with 2 bags of 3 goals amongst a total of 18 from 20 games. This compares well against Zac's 15 goals from 20 games across WAFL & AFL combined. I'm not saying that he's going to be a champion by any stretch but surely when we picked him up as a 15 year old it should have been obvious that he was a 10 year project player and after some clear improvement this year it seems a waste to now dump him. This is especially after Zac has clearly gone backwards this season.

Who do we draft indeed!!!
Tell me how many tall forwards have we drafted kids ( not through trading) who have played more than 20AFL games for Freo ( no say 10 AFL) since 2006.
Zac Clarke ( ruckman , spent time Fwd) Dylan Roberton

Don't forget Tabs (28 games) and Hannath (18).

But your point is well taken.
