Kieran Collins (194) currently at 19 or Riley Bonner (191) at 22. Both are referred to as tall defenders but looking at the players available at about that stage of the draft that's about the best we can expect.

Wont get hipwood. Pretty sure he is one of the Lion's academy picks.

There was an article last week about Jimmy Miller, from Exmouth but plays for Hale. Dont be surprised if he is a very late draft pick or a rookie listed player for Freo. 194cm beast according to a friend. Apprently the club have already been looking at him.

I wouldn't be against trying to pick up Mitch Brown who played for the Cats..

If available Keiren Collins is the one. Defender who could step right in and play.

Im sure theres a reason but I can never understand why Freo don't just recruit the leading goal kicker in the WAFL, whoever that was this year, probably the Subi full forward. I don't care if he is 30.

If we have up to 8 draft picks then I would think that we could use 2-3 picks on guys a little bit older that have been kicking goals in the state leagues. You would presume that they have been looking at the very least. Unfortunately in the wafl I can't think of too many at the moment. Yarran kicks a few but not sure he's the answer. Although we desperately need a big forward they should also look at smaller forwards as well because we can't afford to have Ballantyne have another season like he just did.
Pretty happy with where the list is at apart from the big forward we need. The delistings made sense to me with the exception of Ballard.Even then we have an awful lot of midfielders and he may have asked for a move.

El Guapo - Nice types.
Broad has questionable skills but no doubting his running and ability to find the ball off half back.
I think he would get through to a rookie list unless Carlton take him with their first pick. Would be a great pick up as he continues to improve.

Marcus Adams is the one I like the best - He is build like a outhouse and is AFL ready.
He stopped playing for a year when his brother got hurt and then switched to West Perth after a year in ammos.
He is extremely quick and hits packs and bodies very hard. Plays taller - I would put in the same category of a Campbell Brown type with better skills and better overhead. Can play forward or back. Its been a while since we had a enforcer and this one can actually play. Should be there at pick 35 unless carlton do something silly again.

Shane Yarran - I havent seen him live enough but the goals speak for them selves. I think he would be a great pick up unless Carlton grab him early.

Agree about the delisting of Ballard. They've committed to redrafting Deluca who although injured for part of the season appeared to do very little before then. He would be cover for Ballas.

Deluca was only drafted last year so i don't think we are allowed to delist him entirely, wasn't sure we were allowed to delist and re-rookie him this year either, but we have so obviously there is some loophole that says you can do that.

I would be hoping we pick up some mature ages as "delisted free agents" rather than go to the draft with all our picks, remembering we have to keep draftees on the list for 2 years, if we are going to use 92 and 110 we could have some spuds clogging up list space next year and the year after.

Ballard is already talking to VFL teams so I dont think we have made any promises to him.
He must have a deficiency we dont like - Getting leather poisoning every week is not enough apparently.
They didnt want to gift him a game in round 23 so the writing was on the wall then...

Menegola has never had a crack at it at Hawks or Freo due to injury.
Good to see his body right but who would he be in ahead??
