I find it interesting that no vision has surfaced of the Fremantle player indiscretion (allegedly Sutcliffe) that caused the 50m to be paid to Hale. All I have to go on is Ross's reference to Sutcliffe / high in the presser.
It has been in footy circles widely discussed and you'd think if there is irrefutable evidence that supports the umpires it'd have been shown. That it hasn't appears to indicate that if it is there the high contact it is extremely soft along the lines of the Ballas/blocking decision so would therefore be further embarrassment to the umpires/A(w)FL.
Given it involves Hodge my money would be on he has done something (orchestrated) to draw a response of retribution and cunningly knowing it was coming ensured it was high.
There appears to be a look of "mission accomplished" on his smug mug on the only vision we have seen to date.
Given the number of cameras that exist for MRP review purposes it no doubt exists but they don't for what ever reason want it shown.
