Of course a leopard can change it spots.
I cannot wait to see Harley in purple in 2016. He is surrounded by elite AFL players and he will be able to put the past behind him. He has come home. The future looks bright.
If we are looking at playing more run and gun, free flowing footy to help score more goals then this guys surely has to help with that. Skill to burn and hopefully being back home and around his family will help with the off field stuff.
Almost everytime I see a reference to Harley Bennell in the papers, he's always referred to as the "troubled" Harley Bennell. It's now mid-October 2015. I wonder how long we'll keep seeing him being referred to in this way. It's tiring and bothersome.
To give you an idea, when was the last time you read an article about Michael Walters that didn't mention that Ross Lyon banished him to the WAFL for a few weeks to lose some weight.

I think it was right after the last time Ballantyne was referred to as a serial pest. There needs to be more mention of BrownlowMedallistSinceR10LastYearNatFyfe.
Shane, I prefer my football managers to get 'hands on' - like Gubby Allan in the 1990 GF.
"What made the Collingwood and Essendon brawl different from many others was after viewing the fight between Sporn and Banks, Essendon runner Peter Power looked to join the brawl. However, Power was king hit by Collingwood manager Graeme Allan, in response Allan was hit by Kevin Sheedy, the Essendon coach and was set on by Mark Harvey, then an Essendon defender. While Sheedy and Harvey attempted a retreat, witnesses saw Essendon bootstudder, Graham Mendola clock Allan with an uppercut before being set upon by Collingwood team manager Eddie Hillgrove".
It's not every week the football manager cops 6 weeks for striking and misconduct. Gubby is the main stumbling block in the McCarthy trade at the moment.
