Old blokes like me remember "Scotchman's Hill", on the eastern side of the ground, not far from the prison - could always get a free look at the WANFL (in those days) game before they opened the gates for freebies at 3Q time. Always good to watch Old Easts knock off the Bulldogs and not pay a penny for the privilege! I think it's been replaced by a carpark now.

Yes totally overplaying their hand, I enjoyed the theatre of it all. All the crew that rocked up to watch were taking it in their stride and were OK with it all. The comical component was the crazy security guys that were obviously briefed by Morphett and it went to their head.

I'm telling you it was surreal and comedic, when I Watched 2 security guards March out of Freo oval to the top story of the car park and tell these old silver foxes they were gonna be detained if they didn't move on.
The old blokes wandered over to the oval shell shocked. Beyond belief.
We were then standing out the front of the white entry gates, standing on tip toes to see who was running round (hoping to see McPharlin). Another bloke in a vest came huffing over and said we couldn't be there. Being the hot blooded Croat I let the other blokes deal with it and just smiled. When he realized no one was moving he walked away and got on the phone to seek direction.
Then I got over squinting and got another coffee and rolled out of there. 10 hot chicks sounds good though.
