As much as I'd be happy with a one point win against the Hawks, North don't have to "belt" or "annihilate" the Toilet to win by one point.
I've been telling every Toilet supporter I know for some time now that I'm looking forward to a Freo v North grand final.
I actually think Firrito and Thompson are pretty good defenders - 7 goals 9 behinds isn't flash.

Well if anyone can tell me how NM are going to to get within 5 goals of the Slime, I'm all ears. You'd also better not be the same people that gave Adelaide a chance against Hawthorn.

Hoping someone will win is not the same as explaining why.

If people are just hoping Freo will beat Hawthorn, they are also dreaming. Friday is either going to be Freo's best win of the year, or its worst loss.

North have slightly better mids IMO, if they can get on top they are a chance. They have had a few finals campaigns now also, I wouldn't write them off.

North are not without a chance.
Goldstein can match it with notacluey in the middle and around the ground.
Wc forwards will have the edge if they get a lot of ball inside 50. NMs forwards can overcome wc defenders the mids are going to have to battle to get their team going forward. Stop priddeyy and you stop gaffeyy. Wc strength is their forwards if their mids get on top NM won't win otherwise all is possible.
That my opinion.
