Don't fall into the trap of thinking that would be a logical conclusion. We are dealing with UMPIRES people, they don't see things (free kicks for example) the same way everyone else does. Yeo could win it for example because the commentators reckon he is a carbon copy of Fyfe, which gives them an out as far as the award going to Freo goes. Imagine the absolute brain melt down and man love fest Bruce and Den would have if another Slimer won it. On second thought I don't want to imagine that.

Perhaps I was a bit distracted watching 360 last night but am I right that they failed to mention Fyfe's second MVP? The only thing they did was a quick tease about Fyfe's haircut (fair enough) & a pat on the back for their mate Bob Murphy ... but there appeared to be no actual mention of who won the MVP. Did i miss something or was it just such an overwhelmingly big win for a non-Victorian player that it ceased to be newsworthy in Melbourne?

Did anyone else notice when they interviewed Mike Pyke the night before?
Robbo asked him if he regularly targets players behind the play and in the back like he did Fyfe in a backhanded compliment sort of joking kind of way.
Pyke responded quickly that he had simply been watching Ryan Crowley for the last year and was copying him...
1. Crowley is not a sniper - he does his dirty work face to cafe
2. Crowley has been kicking the pickets for the last 12 months
