I know teams can have off games and the WeePoos obviously did tonight, ... but where was their unsociable football and their shepherding on the mark?
The Slime played very good football, but they were made to look much better by a very poor Hawthorn (... and a 8 to 1 Free Kick start to the game that did the Slime no harm either).
I have been concerned about the Slime for most of the year, because if Freo come up against them, the umps are going to do us no favours, and tonight was further evidence of just how hard they can make it. When the Hawks travelled to Subi and beat the Slime during the Home and Away (Round 19), the Hawks got quite a few 50/50 umpiring decisions. They won that game.
