Should we change the title of this thread to 'Umpire Whinge'? Because we seem to have stopped talking about the game & its ramifications.
I am pleased to see the Hawks looking so average, but it's a worry seeing the Toast dispatching them with aplomb, especially given they are without Priddis. They are not at full strength and are comfortably playing finals-intensity football.
We can't blame the umpires or weather or opposition teams not turning up. The fact is that they're out there now beating the team we thought were our biggest challenge.
WC are our biggest threat now, surely.
It remains to be seen whether we are going to bring our big game tomorrow.
