I am very confident there will be no booing of Goodes.
We have never booed him previously.
My only fear is that some members take some dodgy eagles supporters with them and they do what they do best..

On the football side of things, we could hardly have hoped for a more favourable situation than having 3 of Sydney's top 5 players missing.

I doubt Goodes will get booed, but I expect an almighty booooo of Sydney in general when they appear on the ground.
We don't want to be too nice to this mob - that is not football.

If there's one thing I've noticed, Fremantle crowds tend to put most of their energy into cheering their side on, rather than jeer the opposition and umpires. It is what sets Freo apart from the rubbish that turns up to eagles home games every second week.

There`s no way Dockers fans will boo Goodes. We hold the record (I think) of playing 7 indigenous players in the one game. The difference between us and Toast supporters is that we know footy. Half of their crowd don't know football, they are there for the social occasion, a bit of champers and chat and have decided to come along and have a look after sponsoring the franchise back in the day when they were the only club in town. Most have only been following footy since about 1992 and about half of them don't know any of the other players in the other clubs and even some of their own players. This is why they boo because they have no respect for tradition or champions from other clubs. They really just don't understand. This is why they launched such a vehement defence of Chris Mastens biting charge instead of doing a Silvagni and copping their whack. This is why they failed to condemn the Goodes booing. I would respectfully say they have the greatest percentage of supporters who don't have a clue about football.

Let's not go over the top here. Goodes won't be booed by Freo fans. But i dont think he needs to be appluded mid game either. at best a clap as he goes off the ground might be appropriate as we may not get to see this champ play over here again. As mentioned earlier we know football and respect champs of the game.

There were plaudits from commentators a couple of weeks ago when the Freo crowd clapped the young melbourne lad who got knocked out when he came back on. Something along the lines of great respect from the freo crowd. Warmed me heart, it did. Freo fans rock!
