I think we are carrying a few who don't make enough good decisions or who don't execute well enough, enough of the time.

Mayne, Dan Pearce, Sutcliffe - dunno people they just burn us.

The other thing is we need to get to ourselves into a better draft position to get a key fwd, we need to get aggressive.

Too much is getting left to David Mundy. Fortunately he is up to it.
In general play I thought we were the better team but kept them in it by some terrible kicking at goal and skill errors.

Some positives.
The game is there - the first quarter was pretty good.
Hill used to go missing in some of these games - he doesn't anymore.
Confidence is down but the effort is still there.
Our backline looks good - the band is back together.
Mayne works hard, really hard.
Sandi is still taking some good grabs around the ground and up forward.

If we get to the GF and win, no one will remember the end to our 2015 home and away games, how weak we were.
If we finish in the top two, and either get rolled before the GF or in the GF it's going to be a long summer.
I think we need to start getting games into our young blokes, and looking hard-er at not continually rewarding mediocrity.
I can't recall when we last had a dangerous forward line for a season, perhaps 2014 when Balla was still running and stunning?
Right now I'm gutted

let's not forget the importance of top spot. If we finish second we'll play Hawks at home in the first final - good luck in our current form. If we finish top and win our first final, we don't meet them at the earliest until a Prelim, when they will be making their second trip back to Perth for a tough third final and we'll be well rested. Much better for us to finish first, and that is unlikely now if we choose to rest players for Rd 23 against Port.

Roly just might be the new Malthouse. He doesn't seem to be able to change set ups and we become so predictable for the opposition. If that had been Hawthorn, with Gibson instead of Tarrant, the margin would have been 6 or 7 goals or more. Other sides seem to have much better understanding with one another and some confidence in their team-mates to create more outside possession. God I am so sick of those unproductive bombs into the forward line. Put Freo under pressure and you're in with a real chance. thats enough spleen venting for now!

I haven't learnt anything new.

We butcher most of our i50 entries. We simply DO NOT take marks there. We are completely opportunistic going forward.

Too many people are looking for a silver lining where there isnt one.

I saw the question 'what does the coaching have to do with it?' Well everything. We have bottom four skill levels right now that haven't been addressed all year. We cant hit a team mate by either hand or foot and cant kick straight on goal. Those flaws have not been addressed by the coaches. Time they were held accountable.

I'm actually concerned we won't win another game this year.

Oh and the dirty birds are a monty for the top spot. We've folded.

Won't win another game this year? Bollocks!

I have learned there are a lot of people who have been waiting all season to say I told you so. WCE are just down the road they would be happy to take your money, no one says you have to support Freo.

The regular season is not even done but it sounds like a lot of Freo followers are.

Worst loss for the season by far. It's time for Dan Pearce to go back to peel. Week after week I have seen him fumble - and miss targets - give weller, or Langdon a go

Is top spot really that important? I would of thought playing the Hawks week 1 gives us the best chance of a flag. Win we get a home pre lim and the Hawks will likely have to come back to Perth for a pre lim against the slime. If we loose we have to go it the long way but should get a crack at the Slime in a pre lim. Bad result today but not the end of the world.
