Freoboy our man got something - an extra week for being incompetent.

Using Vickery's case was a mistake - he faced a different charge of Severe impact under a different i.e. 2014 tribunal guideline.

The same tribunal in 2015 gave Yarran 3 wks for the same charge i.e High Impact.

When the MRP sends a Freo player to the Tribunal it means they think their guidelines would mean the penalty is less than they want to give a Freo player. When the MRP sends a Vic player to the tribunal it means they think their guidelines would mean the penalty is more than they want to give a Vic player.

So I ask the question, what is the penalty for concussing a player or breaking their jaw ... 10 weeks plus???

Dawson just got 2 weeks (down from 3) for an elbow to Cameron which split his nose open and I'm supposed to believe that an elbow to the jaw which causes, at worse, bruising and soreness deserves 4 weeks (down from 5).

Get ready for The Biter to get 3 weeks (down from 4) or less.

For mine a competent counsel would have plead not guilty citing Careless due to the eagle joker initiating contact and Silvani's intention was to protect himself by striking the shoulder. Said Eagle lowered his body when initiating contact (clear for all to see in the vision) thus contributing to the unintended high contact.
