i) ducking the head and contact below the knees were rewarded by the umpires today - providing it was by a Weagles player
ii) the main problem with our forward line is the delivery into it. At least half a dozen kicks to a one-on-one in our forward line today did NOT advantage our forwards
iii) I will now be forced to hope Wet Toast win all their remaining games and finish above Hawthorn or our magnanimous gift today will be for naught.
iv) Rolly is still keeping the first 9 rounds 'Plan A' on ice. Let it slip out for the first quarter or so last week to put the Deaf Cheats down, but quickly popped back in the esky.

i) the "the derby is just another chance at four points" psychology needs serious rethinking before the next one

ii) while Walters was running around and contesting marks like a KP forward, we were really missing Ballantyne. We had no crumbing set up around the stoppages / contested marks inside our forward 50, and as a consequence were deprived of one of our main sources of goals.

Mundy needs a haircut, that mane is now looking a bit greasy and ridiculous.
All year I've been calling for Gu to be given a run, but have to admit he's struggling. Clancee to come back in.
Bombing it randomly into the forward line sort of worked in the fourth quarter, but it's not how you win games. Let's revert back to what we did against deaf cheats last week.
If it comes down to a choice of De Boer, Sheridan or Crozier in the 22, think I'm leaning towards Matt missing out. Good pressure but zero offensive threat.
I really don't think we'll have any trouble with the Slime in September, every bounce of the ball / blow of the whistle went their way today, that won't happen again.
Beat NM next week and today's result is actually the best outcome for our flag chances.
We came perilously close today to kicking 12 goals and losing. The day that happens is the day I lose faith in Roly's game plan.

That all our guys seem to be off each other and not talking. How many times did we muck things up for ourselves?
4 guys go up for a mark in our fwd. 3 Freo and 1 wiggle. The Freo dudes muck about and fall A over T and the wiggle runs off with the ball. I'm pretty sure I saw that happen at least 3 times today.

If Son son was 192cm our Kpp problem would be solved.

i) It's confirmed I hate losing to the slime
ii) Johnno and Fyfe needed the run and they got better as the game went on
iii) the boys played the worst game of the season so I hope they now have it out of their system
