This puts a dent in our premiership hopes, but realistically, that’s only if you expected Ballas to lift his game in the latter part of the season.
I'm not qualified to step on Fre-Doh's turf, but statistically, in the time Crozier was on the park this season he gave us the exact same output as Ballas (including for tackles, which I found surprising). I think if Crozier settles in and is given more game time, his output will increase. We lose the Ballas spark, but Crozier can hit the scoreboard, and I think his marking could be useful. To the extent that we want a more defensive forward, I think MdB can pitch in at times, although we obviously lose a little bit of scoring when that happens (well, at least direct scoring).
Still, it’s disappointing, but I'm a little more bullish on Crozier than most. I think it's a realy opportunity for him.
