Anywhere, anytime, yeah, yeah. If Freo weren't 2 games clear I'm sure we could treat this game more seriously.

I see merit in what both sides are saying.
To win an 8 point game is always massive and the players have already had a bye recently.

But recent form and past performances in Tassie suggests we won't be winning.

Sure, treat every game on it's merits but this and St Kilda are two games where resting players could benefit the team in the long run.

If you look at the possible teams for this game these two teams are very evenly matched. Hawks have home ground advantage (sort of) so they would have to be favourites, no question.
I'd give Sandi a rest and play Griff and maybe play Crozier forward for some additional goal scoring potential.
One thing is for sure we have to be all go when the first siren sounds. It has to be 4 quarters not 1 of effort.

This is the first time this season, we're going into a game as underdogs. Two games clear and on top of the ladder, and still little respect paid to Freo. If the order was reverse, we'd still be the underdogs. I'm with Fre_doh, all guns blazing this weekend. No one gave us a chance Sept 2013, in Geelong.

Mellors, do the AFL let us fly charter now? The AFL usually makes us fly Virgin in line with a sponsorship arrangement. Good luck getting there in much less than 6 hours, plus, you know, we have to fly back. So, 10-12 hours on a plane is about right.
