No they're not up for the fight.

Last time they were here we led 57-1 at half time before running out winners 105-22 (round 14, 2014).

Those 22 points represent the lowest score we have ever conceded and the lowest score they have ever posted, so yes please I'll have some more of that.

Given our recent 4 wk's of consecutive exposure to wet/slippery conditions shouldn't that be beneficial to us.

Anyone would think rain & slippery conditions are a recent phenomena, we need to harden up this is AFL both teams have to play in it and we are THE top team & should be able to adapt.

Or are we perhaps becoming a wee bit of an excuse team when it suits?

Nah, I just enjoy seeing Sandi tap to Fyfe who boots it lace out to Pav on the lead inside fifty who then goes back and slots a goal.

That to me is a thing of beauty, I could honestly watch it all day, and I'm more likely to see it in sunny, non-dewy, mud-free weather.

In the 90s some good friends of ours from Glasgow stayed and worked in Brisbane, and I recall there being a band at the time called Glasvegas, from Glasgow i presume, and one of their mixtape they left behind it I am certain featured Glasvegas, but the tape was titled Brisvegas? I doubt they are responsible of course, but there is a maybe, because 20 years ago was the first time i came across this term.
