TOPIC: Peel v s west coast

As humiliating as It is to see how many injuries our footy department manages, is the utter humiliation that a reserve west coast side put together in a few months plays with more purpose and system than a ross Lyon game style peel.
Mitch crowden kicking at 36pc efficiency is pure nonsense. The kid came over with good foot skills but a year into the freo development it gets worse.
What a joke.

North looked good as did Bennell. But Cox in defence was as pointless as trying to race a tractor.

Watched the whole game West coast played football constantly trieng to hit targets and played with purpose......while our players got lots of possessions but relentlessly booted the footy forward without even watching who was around them......

It was clearly an effort focus team against a skill focused team

Peel would have loved freo saying all three rucks have to play. The feedback would have been that only one can play and the others are decorative.

Could Cox get a game in defence next week due to Hamling's injury?

Polly are you saying Cox in defence is lots of fun to watch?

I mean Tractor racing: It's a skill based sport. I'd be a member of the Freo Dockers Tractor Racing team

Give us some pictures of the MF 175 racing the International 556 and the Chamberlain 354.

Thered be no point RM...the Countryman 354 would leave the other 2 in its dust. Ive got a Countryman 6 (with the Meadows engine), and its still the fastest (and least problematic) of anything else I have.

Its the "David Mundy" of that generation of tractors....

Nah, I still reckon the Perkins 354 is the one, the Pavlich of Diesels. Anywhere , Anytime, Anyhow, it gets the job done. I reckon the Fergie would have it on agility though, and as for speed off the mark, you haven't dropped a clutch until you have driven a 554.

Just sorted the rear main seal on a 354 in a 47 yr old Inter 1610.
It will go around again. ....I've nicknamed it 'Sandy'.

But in difference to the big bloke, its actually a "going concern"...

If you want to take on the C6 , RM, more than happy for you to bring the Inter or Massey and 'have a go'.... it'll be like Brad Hill vs Jack Hannath

Wow, tractor talk - now we're talking real stuff.

Sorry for the analogy though, Cox is definately now a forward - he may have been a defender once, but he was hopeless for Peel on the weekend. His defender days are surely behind him.

Speed is his issue Polly....did he show any improvement?? There was a great discussion about him last week, but unless he can get some new wheels, he's a bit limited I'd reckon....
